Jaime is a 2002 Marymount Manhattan College alumni. She received her B.A. degree from the Dance Department and minored in Education while attending MMC. She started dancing at the tender age of three and studied many forms of dance including Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz, Modern, Pointe and Acrobatics.
Prior to college Jaime was involved in competitive dance at such competitions as Dance Masters of America’s New York and Connecticut chapters, American Dance Awards, Starpower, Headliners, Shinning Star, Dance Showcase, and USTD [United States Tournament of Dance] among several others. She was also chosen to perform in Dance Excellence at Disneyland as a representative of the state of New Jersey. She in addition, received an invitation to perform at Frank Hattchet’s Dance Showcase in New York City.
Jaime has been teaching and choreographing since 1996 at various studies and her love of dance and performance is what she hopes to bestow upon her students of all ages.
Kristie Roca-Guardascione is the owner/director of Turning Point Dance Academy. She double majored in Dance and Psychology at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and graduated in December 1998 with both degrees. While attending Stockton, Kristie traveled and performed extensively with Stockton Dance Company in Florida, Ohio, New York and New Jersey. Prior to that Kristie was a teacher's assistant and learned the ropes from many of her respected teachers.
Kristie is also a Certified Massage Therapist. She received her certification in October 1999 from the Institute of Therapeutic Massage and has been practicing ever since.
Liz Francica has been dancing since the young age of 2. She received her Dance Education from the King Center for the Performing Arts and primarily from Robin Horneff Performing Arts Center, studying all styles of dance. This is where she danced competitively for 12 years and performed at the Atlanta Olympic Games, Orange Bowl Half Time Show, Disney Land, Day at the Movies Festival and many more. Liz has won many top soloist awards and was selected to go on the national tour, as a teacher’s assistant, with Dance Olympus. She was also hand picked by Frank Hatchett to attend the North Carolina Summer Dance Intensive. After High School, she furthered her Education at SUNY Brockport where she received her B.S. in Political Science/Pre-Law and Dance minor. Here is where she took part in many modern residencies with: Jose Limon, Paul Taylor, Ellis Wood, Mark Haim, Garth Fagan, Susannah Newman and Tim Draper of the Rochester City Ballet. Liz is also certified and accredited through Broadway Dance Center’s “The Pulse” dance convention. Most recently, she has performed as a member of “Falling Awake-Clarity in Motion”, an up and coming dance company. Not only does she teach at Turning Point Dance Academy, she teaches at Robin Horneff and choreographs for the Dance Technique Company.
